The Jerks in the Back Row
Ever watch a bad movie? No, I mean REALLY bad. I'm talking the kind of movie that's so bad you can't believe someone actually spent money to make it. We have. In fact, that's the whole point of this site. We find the cheesiest, goofiest, WORST movies we can get our hands on. Then we watch them and record our thoughts for you. Think MST3K, except with more of a focus on sci-fi and horror (and a LOT more cursing... PG-13 we ain't). That's what we do. And hopefully, we can help you find a little more enjoyment in these flicks.
Some of you may have noticed that things have slowed down a bit, to say the least. Without going into any details, various factors have come into play that boiled down to commentary being difficult to schedule. As much as we enjoy doing these silly little laugh-tracks, the fact remains that it is a hobby. We don't get paid, we don't charge for the commentaries, and even if it did the money would go back into the site (hosting fees, better equipment, etc.) as opposed to our pockets or "real life" bills, so those silly things like "work" and "family" have a tendency to siphon off time we'd otherwise be spending watching goofy fun horror movies and recording commentaries that you fine folks can download and enjoy.
As a result of this, it's with a heavy heart that I'm announcing that Brett will be stepping down his involvement with the Jerks. Don't worry, he's not going anywhere, he's still a Jerk, and he'll keep appearing in commentaries as his schedule allows. All that's changing is (hopefully) the frequency we get commentaries recorded. New Jerk Sean will be joining the team, with the hope that by adding one more person to the mix, we'll have more room to work with. We're looking to get a commentary or two up in the next few weeks, and if things pan out we'll be able to announce a big surprise soon.
So, get ready for new content, welcome the new blood, and remember that we're keeping a mic open for the Brettster.
Oh, and check the Rants page to see something positive for a change. (hint: it's a review for Wanderlost)
